We Feel Much More Informed Now!

Last Saturday, Stan and Jennifer wanted to revisit some newer model homes. You see, almost a year ago when we first met, they were looking for their first home up to $130,000. Within a month of meeting each other, they decided to stop looking, save some more down payment and re-start in the fall. That's exactly what they did. For the last month, they have been enrolled in our "Buying Smart" Program. They received our MLS printouts, previewed a few resale homes, then Stan wanted to revisit some of the model homes which he had seen earlier.

This time our price range had increased to approx. $180,000. This made a big difference in the homes which they were able to look at. Going through the new homes together, allowed them to ask a lot of questions, and stop and truly compare what each builder was offering them. Not only that, they were much more conscious of the "quality" of the homes: the carpets, cupboards, windows etc. instead of "ooing" and "aweing" over the decorating. This time they could see the difference. They noticed the size of the yards, the double or single driveways, all the "extras" which were not included in the price.

Stan said, "Isn't it funny, we're right back at the new homes ....where started at a year ago. However, this time we are able to see the differences comparing the new homes with other new homes, but also the differences comparing the resale homes to the new homes. What a difference it makes to have your buyer agent go through the homes with you!"

Within a couple of weeks, we happily negotiated a new home for them, which was already built.

They are thrilled and will be moving in soon.
