I have been in Real Estate for over 14 years. I love what I do. I feel that my whole life has been preparing me for this career. When I was just a child, I delivered newspapers to about a hundred homes. My Mom used to laugh at me coming in the house, absolutely black from the newsprint. Even at that early age, I knew how much I loved helping people.

Then my Dad bought the Home Hardware store, on the Mountain, at the corner of Fennell and Upper Gage. I started working there nights and weekends, along with most of my 7 brothers and sisters. (my Dad was smart!)

After taking Business courses at Mohawk College, I worked as a Manager and District Manager for Marie Claire, a women’s retail chain. Then came my daughter, Alyssa. When Alyssa was ready for school, I was ready to go back to work, but had no real idea where. It was my sister Marilyn who suggested I consider Real Estate as my full time career. She thought my combined experience with people, hardware, marketing and business would be a natural for Real Estate. She was right!

For me, Real Estate is so much more than helping people buy and sell homes. It’s more about people fulfilling their dreams, whatever they may be. Sometimes it’s about problem solving, and sometimes it’s about assisting people in coming to the decision that it’s not the best time to buy or sell. I don’t believe in high pressure sales tactics.

You know that commercial on T.V. that says "Real Estate is Our Life"? It’s true! This really is a full time career. It’s my career, and I love it!
